My family practice is small, personable, and health and wellness oriented. What I enjoy most about being a family doctor is knowing my patients well and helping them achieve the best health they can. I treat patients of all ages and welcome new and existing patients at my new office.

In order to help keep our patients safe, we are in the process of transitioning a majority of visits to telehealth. Please contact the office at 929-5888 with any questions.

Dr. Kohl

I was born and raised in Bozeman, Montana. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Dakota and my medical degree at the University of Arizona School of Medicine. In 1999 I moved to Alaska for the Alaska Family Medicine Residency and graduated the three year program in 2002.

I have been board certified in Family Medicine since 2002 and am a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. In my free time I love to run, ski, and spend time exploring Alaska with my husband and two children.

Billing

Our office accepts cash, checks, and all major credit cards. We will bill most US health plans. Health plan deductibles, copays, and any services not covered by insurance will be collected in full at the time of service.

If we are not billing insurance, payment in full is required at the time of service. Patients who do not have insurance and pay in full at the time of service will receive a 20% discount.

We are preferred providers for Aetna, Blue Cross, Multiplan and Cigna. We are currently accepting new pediatric medicaid patients (Denali KidCare) but are not able to accept adult medicaid or medicare patients at this time.

  • Driver’s License or State ID
  • Insurance Cards for all insurance

  • Insurance Cards for billing accuracy
  • Financial Policy — if over one year has lapsed since your last visit
